So, Memorial Day Weekend was spent up north....first time I made it up there since we blew the engine in the snowmobile...was that February or was that March? We arrived LATE on Thursday evening as Emily had her last band concert on Thursday evening...who planned that one! We woke up Friday morning to an absolutely beautiful Northern Michigan day. A bit of lawn clean up...no burning allowed as they haven't had rain in weeks...so what better way to enjoy the rest of the weekend but to don the sunglasses and sit on the boat all weekend. Well maybe not on Sunday when the wind was coming from the North....so we just moved over to the other lake and sat on their beach. Now, that's the life of retirement....
Now, I still need to wear my sunglasses as the raccoon eyes are shining the way around.
